ASIAN BEST MANGO STICKY RICE
Mango sticky rice is a renowned Thai dessert, cherished for its unique flavor and authenticity, made using a special variety of mango native to Thailand. To preserve its genuine taste, this dessert is brought directly from Thailand. This project focuses on creating packaging for the frozen version, designed to display effectively in freezers and stand out, targeting both mainstream and oriental markets.

01 DESIGN INITIATIVE
To make this product appealing to both markets, I developed a draft design that blends elements of oriental and mainstream styles. The design uses colors that represent mango and freshness, along with an image of the final dish to attract consumers. After discussions with stakeholders and an internal survey, we agreed to select a clean and simple design (bottom left).
02 DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
At this stage, I made minor changes, such as adjusting the colors and repositioning the product name, leading up to the final design.
The picture below shows the final design, which I also developed the back packaging for. This includes the nutrition facts, ingredient list, cooking instructions, and other details that comply with US FDA regulations.
